Area broken into two "A" and two "N" quadrants.  Shaded area is radio beam "Foggia".  Pilots signaled
in Morse Code "FO".  Where beams cross is dead zone.  Depending on approach to the dead zone, once
over it, a pilot knew how far to fly, and which heading to take, in order to land on the runway.
